Replacing a legacy EPM with Anaplan — live in about three months

The challenge
A multi-entity IT services business had outgrown its Vena-based planning. It needed an integrated financial planning platform that could handle billing currencies, multiple views of the P&L and tight data access.
What we built
Ran the PMO and solution design for an Anaplan integrated financial planning (IFP) rollout: entity architecture, billing-currency logic, row-level security and a multi-view P&L. Integrated Workday compensation data and SAML single sign-on. After go-live, led the reconciliation of the employee base.

An AI agent that explains revenue-to-GP variance

The challenge
Leadership wanted faster, consistent answers to “why did gross profit move?” — and clarity on where AI would genuinely pay back.
What we built
A variance-analysis agent (Databricks Genie) tracing revenue to gross profit by customer, cluster and project — plus a five-pillar AI ROI framework to prioritise further use cases.

A CFO executive dashboard that reads in one screen

The challenge
The CFO needed a dashboard that said what changed and why — not just more data.
What we built
A Tableau redesign led by an insight strip of the month’s key messages, a revenue bridge waterfall from prior to current period, and a customer concentration-risk panel.

A lender-ready model — and a margin story that changed

The challenge
A small business preparing for a loan had accounts that understated its true trading margin because costs were misclassified.
What we built
Reclassified the cost base and built an 11-tab, 3-year integrated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and DSCR model for lenders.

One view of profit across three ledgers

The challenge
Entities in different countries ran on Zoho Books, Tally and QuickBooks, so nobody could see vertical P&L, bench cost or project profitability in one place.
What we built
FP&A and data architecture consolidating the three ledgers into SQL Server and on to Power BI: vertical P&L, bench visibility and project profitability.

The problem wasn’t payroll software

The challenge
The owner asked for help with payroll and software. The diagnostic showed the real issue was revenue recognition, work-in-progress and job costing.
What we built
Reframed the brief and set out a phased path: diagnostic, then process redesign, then Zoho implementation, then an ongoing MIS retainer.

We run what we recommend

The context
Tusker Minds operates its own e-commerce business, so we live with the same systems questions our SMB clients face.
What we built
Zoho Books as the ledger, inventory reconciliation, and a WooCommerce integration so orders flow into the books without re-keying.
